Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Press the tofu to remove excess liquid. Place the tofu and brad with a good pinch of salt and pepper into a food processor and make an even mixture.
Add chopped fresh basil, garlic granules, grated cheese and egg to the tofu mix and and combine well.
Shape the mixture to about 18 "meatballs". Place them on a tray with a baking sheet and bake for 30 - 40 minutes until firm and golden brown.
Serve with pasta and tomato sauce.
